Vermillion Films, a video production company based in Birmingham UK approached Wiser IT in January 2023 to resolve a number of technical SEO issues to improve their search engine position for search terms relating to video production In Birmingham. They had been maintaining the website themselves with no internal SEO training or experience, and hence issues had been replicated and accentuated across the site as a result.
After thoroughly analysing the on-site and off-site SEO for this film company, Wiser IT presented a 3-month SEO plan to the team to resolve these technical SEO issues and improve the website’s Ranking on search engines such as Google and Bing.
The plan was divided into:
- Current baseline stats for Vermillion Films and their main competitors
- Critical technical SEO Issues that needed to be addressed ASAP
- Less critical SEO issues to be resolved next
- A clear Agile action plan, timeline and costs
VermillionFilms agreed with our review of the site and was keen for us to start immediately on this SEO project, this project begin in January 2023 through to March 2023 at which point the SEO foundations had been fixed and following some tuition the onsite and offsite SEO was handed over to the internal team with a clear plan including increased blog posting, YouTube video releases and Social Media posting.
